    Um...illigal pot is already expensive. And if pot was legal to smoke and grow for those of who just enjoy smoking, I would hope that most people would be smart enough to grow it. Bottem line, the goverment shouldnt be controlling what we put in our pipe....So put that in your pipe and smoke it!!

    I would normally say that I was down for legalization and regulation, but think about it. Do you really want the American government regulating/possibly manipulating your stash? They'll never legalize it without completely controlling it themselves. Farmer John's homegrown special would probably become a bigger crime than it is now. Legal pot would be expensive, lacking in potency, and like good old American tobacco, easily more dangerous than the naturally grown plant.
