I know what fear can be like and what it is like to have so many things go wrong at the same time. I am also so very grateful for the tests that have helped so many to discover whether abnormalities are cancer before it is too late to save our lives. And I am striving for the support of research that will end cancer forever for all of us. We can all do this together.

I worry about the paps and other tests ... I'm 26 and already tested paositive for the brac1 and have had 1 abnormal pap 6 mo ago and now they found a cyst after an internal ultra sound ... the ca125 showed normal lvls so they aren't worried but with alrbeing being on BC for 6 yrs i'm worried that it may get worse and become cancer

I found my tumor by self exam but that does not mean that getting a mammogram would not have have found it also. There are several different types of breast cancers and with the type that I had, there is no change in the shape or color of the ariola or the nipple. I am very sorry that after all of these years since they started doing mammograms and the number of deaths from breast cancers has significantly declined that the new recommendations do not take this into account.

I know what you mean about the mental abuse. That is the part that sticks with you long term. But most physical abusers are mental abusers also and the more that could be listed, the better for all of us. At least it is a start.
