    Crash, if you meant to throw a snowball and it hit your friend in the eye and he lost vision permanently, does that mean you don't apologize? Sometimes purposeful actions cause unintended consequences. But I suppose you didn't mean to cause the loss of sight, so technically your still right: you meant to throw the ball and your not apologizing for that. But you should apologize for the uninteded consequences.
