    All I can say is support Jason's Law LOL and I am glad he admitted now if I'm not mistaken nothing can be over turned.

    I am so glad he was found guilty. I am afraid there is not much that can be done for our safety though. Even in truck stops. Last christmas we stopped to get a drink at the flying j in dallas tx and got there just as a guy had broken into a 63 yr old womans trk. We helped her but it took 30 mins for the cops to get there!! No place is safe. I carry my stun gun and pepper spray everywhere i go and we park in the same places all the time. Its a sad scarey situation.

    I understand the sentencing as there was no physical evidence, and the fact that he did not take a plea nor admit any guilt until a jury had proven him guilty. If he had plead guilty and taken a plea it would have been life anyway. I'm glad hope has some sort of closure.We are lucky with no evidence he got convicted at all. God Speed Drivers!

    same SOBs that support Jasons law are closing all the rest areas. Two faced bastards. In Va just stop in the hammer lane put the four ways on and Pee in the median. Same in NM, all rest areas on I 40 are closed. That's a LONG ways to go without tightening straps or adjusting the tarp.

    i cant remember if i signed the petition when it was first started but i went ahead and signed it again either way as this is to close to home for me as my boyfriend and his older brother are both truckers so yes i am up for this change for the truckers

    yeah it seems our truck may have gotten to close without the guys knowing it as we had to have the alternator and 3 batteries replaced since jerry was home last

    LOL I didn't do anything to the truck this time :-). I do believe the alternator is shot. It's been jump start about 6 times within 2 weeks LOL.

    I think all these big companies need to be poked around at just to see what the training methods are like. I know the company I am leaving has one bad trainer that I know of who is a complete danger to himself and others and when the student complained about it all they did was supsend the trainer from training

    I agree fully. My husband runs the east. He is forced to drive while tired b/c no place to park, its a joke. If u do park on ramps in some states is $137.50 LOL trust me. Best thing I can do is encourage everyone to call their state reps and the White House tell them just how much Jason's Law is NEEDED and how the truck parking is. If anyone needs the numbers holler and I will get them for you.

    Not only do we need safer areas but we need more areas all together. we r loosin rest areas n the east & truck stops all over.face it drivers we r bein forced out. we have trucks havin to sleep on ramps is this safe no. anything can happen on a ramp. we have to many trucks not enough parkin areas
