    these hard times have been triggered by the colapse of the housing market. under clinton it was greatly expanded. what the Federal Reinvestment Act did was force banks to make more home loans to people, even if the people couldn't afford it. it made clinton look good because people started buying houses like crazy under his presidency. it made bush look bad cuz it caught up to people under bush and they started losing thier homes. you can stop blaming bush now
