    I understand, Row. However, I am not feeling guilt if that is what you've attributed to my comment, it's not that. I don't just make 'one day a year' to respect the people of this country. Perhaps I said the wrong thing about "past wrongs"? But do you think 'sorry' might mean something other than the meaning you have attached to it? To me, it doesn't mean pity or regret. I personally hope that Aboriginal Australians do not feel mocked out of this day. That's not intended in the slightest.

    Before anybody jumps to any conclusions no I'm not racist. I am a young white Australian who is sick of the guilt-attribution to generations of Australians who had nothing to do with the "stolen generation". I understand the problems in the Aboriginal community. Saying sorry every year does nothing to solve the problems. It just makes a mockery out of serious issues.
