    Thanks! I'm working hard to get the letters pulled together and will have them available as a book--hopefully within the next six months or so. I'm pretty excited about it.

    As a librarian, I can tell you that, yes, people are interested. We have a some local Civil War-era letters and diaries in our collections and they have been of great interest to scholars and amateur historians.
